This is a producer, who appears to travel two winemaking paths at once. On the one hand, the wnemaker sets his mind to produce first class wines in a traditional vein, and also typical for the region of the Palatinate. In this, he succeds with excellence.
On the other hand, his eye roves over what can be done to impart his skills to wines, which break the very traditional mould; and in this respect, he also succeed with distinction, and excellence.
This is still a family business, but the younger generations, who were sent to study winemaking oveseas, are exerting their influence. This can be seen in the wide variety of excellent wines we present from these fine vineyards.
