Weingut Golter is one of our larger vintners with a growing area of 150 hectares. The operation lies in a romantic setting among fields and meadows in Schozachtal, south of Heilbronn in the main wine area of Würrtemberg. The first official notation of the existence of the winery of the family Golter was in 1743.
Today's owner and vintner, Richard Golter, follows the principles, which make his wine special: Only healthy grapes and small yields result in am outstanding grape quality. It is his goal to follow tradition in harmony with nature. Yield reducing activity at the right time, natural fertilisation of the soil, and renouncing insecticides make this possible.
In the last four years, the Golter wine production has won four gold medals for its products. In 2006 it won the prize of honour from the State wine competition, and in 2009 it received the official State Certificate of Honour for constant, outstanding performance on wine production over a number of years.
